Alzheimer's and Dementia
Dementia is a neurological /brain disorder that causes changes in brain functioning such as memory, and behaviour. Alzheimer’s is a type of Dementia. There are myths about Alzheimer’s being an aging disease however it can affect an adult at any age. If you are having difficulty with your memory that is not typical for you, talk to your family doctor or nurse about your symptoms. You can benefit from identifying signs of Alzheimer’s early on by receiving treatment and support.
