Attention Deficit Disorder /Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD) is a condition affecting the ability to focus, concentrate and attend to tasks. It can also include symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity. It can be identified as early as three years old. Symptoms can lesson with age and can be manageable with treatment. Children who experience symptoms of this disorder can struggle in their academics , following classroom structure/routine as well as affect their relationships. Talk to your family doctor or Nurse should you have concerns for yourself or your child for an assessment and to discuss treatment options.
